Britain Rock Cats in game three of the four game series. The Fisher Cats have played well as of late, capturing the win in both games of the homestand, thus far.

Lind, 29, has seen every stage of the game of baseball, beginning his career in 2003, in the NCAA. He played with the South Alabama Jaguars for the 2003 and 2004 season.  In late 2004, Lind was drafted by the Blue Jays, and joined the Auburn Doubledays, an affiliate of the Blue Jays at the time.

He then spent the 2005 season with the Dunedin Blue Jays, Toronto’s Single-A affiliate, before advancing to Double-A New Hampshire, and Triple-A Syracuse, in 2006. Near the end of the 2006 season, Lind was called up to the show, where he spent 19 games with the Jays.

He started the 2007 season with Syracuse, before he was again, brought up to Toronto. He repeated this in 2008.

2009 is the first season Lind started up in Toronto. He stayed in the majors the following year, and in 2011 he played in most of his games with the Jays, but he played three games with Dunedin.

This year, Lind has played in Las Vegas, Toronto, and he is currently in New Hampshire on a rehab assignment, nursing a mid-back strain.

I talked to Lind before the game and he said, “I feel like I am ready to be back, playing at the Major League level.”

He proved that statement correct as he lead off for the Fisher Cats in the bottom of the first. He jacked a solo shot out to right-field to get the Fisher Cats the early 1-0 lead over the Rock Cats.
