(MANCHESTER, N.H.)–Fans who bought tickets for tonight’s 6:35 Fisher Cats game are in for a treat after a last minute announcement stating that Blue Jays’ gems Jose Bautista and Adam Lind will be rehabbing tonight.
The rumors started last night, when the New Hampshire Fisher Cats announced that BlueJays.com and the Toronto Star reported the the Jays’ power-hitters may make an appearance within the Fisher Cats last homestand of the season. Earlier today, an article was run in the New Hampshire Union Leader that confirmed the arrival of Lind and Bautista in the Queen City.
I took some video of both Bautista and Lind taking batting practice earlier today. Here are the links to those videos:

Fisher Cats skipper Sal Fasano contributed his thoughts by saying “At the end of the day,we can only give them so much information. I know in my career, I learned a lot more from my peers than I learned from my coaches.”
The overall team morale seemed to be up today. Let’s see what the Fisher Cats can do tonight!
Jose Bautista will leadoff for the Fisher Cats and Adam Lind will bat second. You can find tonight’s entire Fisher Cats lineup pictured below.
FUN FACT: Jose Bautista has been to Fisher Cats stomping ground before, but in an Altoona Curve jersey. He played the first three days of July in 2005. He went 2-for-12 in those three games, with NO HOMERS. Things have changed!
